Xiaolongtan Mining Bureau, in order to meet the needs of electricity and coal users and accelerate the pace of expansion in the fifth phase, has put forward the decision to increase coal output. The coal resources in the Western slope of Buzhaoba Open-pit Mine are affected by its primary stratum conditions and climatic characteristics, so mining and recovery has always been a technical problem. In order to respond positively to the decision of the upper stratum to increase coal output, this paper relies on the existing technology to study the way of coal resource recovery in Western slope. Through comprehensive application of open- pit mining, rock mechanics, numerical simulation and field test, the stability of Western slope is uated comprehensively, and the feasibility of coal resource recovery in Western slope is analyzed. On this basis, the optimization of Western slope coal resource recovery realm, recovery schedule and layout of mining process system are studied. The main achievements are as follows 1 Two numerical simulation software Slope and Sigma are used to analyze the stability of four original sections in the Western slope before and after clearing. The results show that the stability coefficients of the two s are basically the same, and the validity of the numerical simulation is verified by comparison. At the same time, it shows that the clearing load reduction can improve the slope stability to a certain extent. 2 Based on the current situation of mining, the recovery scheme of mineral resources in Western slope is determined, the mechanism of slope deation and instability and the internal factors inducing slope instability are clarified, the coupling mechanism of mining and slope stability is systematically studied, and the stability variation law of Western slope in different annual output is revealed. 3 The recovery scheme is divided into two stages short-term and medium-term and long-term, and the comprehensive uation is carried out. The results show that the stripping amount of the recent resource recovery scheme is 2.59Mm and the raw coal is 22.19Mt; the stripping amount of the medium-term and long-term resource recovery scheme is 0.32M and the raw coal is 17.13Mt. The whole scheme recovers 万方数据 III 39.32 Mt of raw coal with a stripping ratio of 0.07, which can create economic benefits of 268 million yuan. 4 Combining with stability analysis, the feasibility of Western slope coal resource scheme is demonstrated, and the comprehensive uation of slope stability and coupling effect of resource recovery in the northwest corner is carried out, as well as the comprehensive uation of slope stability in the northwest corner by resource recovery in the Western slope.
